To Feel Before We Share

I struggle with the ambiguity of vulnerability. The thoughts of being able to share my feelings give me an unsettling feeling. But then again I feel deeply for the world around me and I’m able to humanize people because of my vulnerability towards humanity.
Society is scared, the fear of seeing its own reflection have caused a crippling disdain towards its own self. I believe that’s why people are quick, to give their attention to whatever makes them, feel and escape their reality. .
We neglect ourselves to be seen, we neglect rawness it’s makes us uncomfortable. Intimacy is now a currency for what you can do and not who you really are.
We trade depth for visibility. We neglect ourselves in order to be seen. We abandon rawness because it asks too much of us.
And in doing so, we forget that vulnerability was never weakness it was honesty before performance, presence before escape.
We must feel to be able to share. Jesus felt so he shared.
